New diet and a bunch of random photos..........again!

So, my mother is famous for coming downstairs every morning and saying "I watched this interesting documentary last night...."  So, the latest one she watched was on the "fasting diet".  Guess I'll give it a try.  You eat whatever you want five days a week and then two days a week you are only allowed 500 calories.  It's doable for me, I'm a foodie  and if I have something to look forward to I'm good, so I can sacrifice for a couple days a week if I have to.  I have always struggled with my weight.  A couple of years ago I lost 60 lbs.  I have kept 45 of it off, so that's good, but in the journey I have found that my addiction is food.  The more I'm deprived, the more I think about it.  So, I want to find something that allows me to eat the good stuff, with only minimal "restriction" here and there.  Two days will be manageable I think.  Has anyone tried this?  I'll keep you posted.  I plan to start Monday.  Hope to get the rest of the book read by then...

Gorgeous, these were at Lowes!

I'm going to butcher the spelling.........forsynthia?? in bloom...

So the other day we were in Jefferson City at the mall and I said, "I think I need to go to Bath and Body to get more hand soap.  Mom said "I think you have a couple bottles under the sink".  Well, yea, this is what I found.  Apparently in addition to being a foodie, I'm a soapie!!!

Another gorgeous tree in the yard in bloom! Love it!

Here's a great Uncle Sam my sister gave me for Christmas!!  She has just added a bunch of her folk art Santa's to her Etsy store....

The things we resort to........I've been fighting with my mother's dog ollie to keep him off the back of the couch.  Mom heard that this works.  Not pretty, but if it's just us at home, the foil stays.  It works too!

Rolls of wool for rug binding.  We don't use traditional rug binding here!!!
Until next time......

am doing the fast diet. Have lost a few pounds. the great part about it is, the longer I am on it, the more I don't really feel hungry. Good luck to you!!
