A Sale and 2 Giveaways....

It's time for a sale and a couple Giveaways.
The buds are popping a bit more everyday and the grass is getting greener by the minute.  We just love Spring!!
Pretty soon it will be time to plant those gardens and tend to those flowers but before we get our fingers in the dirt we decided to have an impromptu sale so you can get your summer proects in line.  From today until Wednesday everything on our website www.theoldtatteredflag.com will be 10% off.  This is a great way to build that wool stash or get that pattern or kit that you've been wanting for awhile.  Every little bit helps.
Sadly on Thursday we will have to increase our Wool prices .25 per 1/4 yd.  Wool has increased a bit over the years but we have absorbed these increases each time since we started this venture 4 years ago.  So, another great reason to take advantage of the sale.

As a consolation we have decided to have a couple of Giveaways.  Mom has donated a whole yard of her gorgeous  hand dyed mottled red wool (basket not included) and I have punched my new Antique Floral Pocket with faux gold drieds.  All you have to do is comment to this blog which one you'd prefer or if you'd be happy with either.  You can also email us your entry to theoldtatteredflag@yahoo.com

The drawing will be Wednesday night.
Don't forget to visit www.theoldtatteredflag.com to take advantage of the sale.

1 yard of gorgeous hand dyed mottled red wool

Until next time.....

About Me

Thank you very much for taking the time to read my blog. I am married and just entering the second phase of my life as a Army retiree's wife. My husband and I did 25+ years in the Army. He is now officially a retired Colonel and has just entered the civilian workforce and I am happily settled in our 1830 Stone house. I (along with my Mom) operate www.theoldtatteredflag and currently we are building a small shop in the back part of the house. We live in Northern NY, right near the Canadian border. I have two handsome sons and 2 puggles. Life is busy for us, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
