Just a quick hello today. It was absolutely gorgeous here today, so I cleaned up my corner in the garage and did some other puttering around the house.
I wanted to thank everyone who entered a suggestion in my contest to name my new Sheep and Crow design. It truly was not an easy decision, you sent in some great ones. I did decide to go with the simple and primitive "Fleece and Feathers" by Jan Rutledge. Thanks Jan and everyone who entered!! Below you can see some great wool that Mom has been experimenting with and Oh My, they are just beautiful, almost too pretty to cut up I think. And...look at the Antique Horse rug she is working on now. I can't wait to see it finished.
I am really thinking of you all up in the Northeast with that bad weather, I haven't forgotten the misery!! If I were there with you I'd help you shovel.

Oh my goodness...where do I start ?? The new patterns are wonderful and I really love the colors of the wools in the 2 appliques !!
The names that Jan suggested are perfect !!
Those wools that your Mom dyes are just so stunning !!
I love seeing what Mom is working on, ...beautiful Antique Horse rug !!
I've watched the videos and of course my favorite is the blooper one !1 It reminds me of my daughters and I...We get so silly sometimes...They make me pee my pants...that'sok, I'll get them back, when they have to change them some day !!!....lol
And Max ....Sooo cute !! Reminds me of the Grinch's little dog Max...
Love it all !! So fun !!

Thanks for writing Robin, mom does do a beautiful job on things doesn't she? As for the blooper video, we've gotten so many comments, I'm glad I put it on, I think it brought a smile to quite a few. Have a great night...
Fleece and feathers is the perfect name for that pattern! Congrats to Jan! The Horse rug your Mom is hooking looks beautiful! That may have to be next on my hooking list... The first piece of wool looks like an autumn forest... LOVE it! Would be great for a pictorial rug... or even with a rug that has leaves... I hope Baxter's paw is getting better... Max looks like he doesn't have a care in the world! lol!
That is close to the name that I was going to call the wool, I was thinking "Autumn Fest". It's gorgeous. Baxter's paw is sore, he keeps licking it, I've heard that's their way of self healing. I'll most likely take him to the vet tomorrow to have it checked. You are right, Max doesn't have a care in the world except sleeping and eating and an occasional walk. Mom and I always say if there is such a thing as reincarnation, we want to come back as our dogs, they are so spoiled!!
