We keep plugging along.....

"Antique Coverlet" now available for punch needle

Peasant bag ~ we are still tweaking this, watch for the pattern  in different styles available soon!

Goodies that will be available Aug. 3 at our "Christmas in August" sale

"Cathedral Window" hooked by Carol DeCoteau...........just stunning!

As you can see we've been very busy as usual.  As the move gets closer we are trying to lighten our load so are working on all of our UFO's (unfinished objects).  I have boxes of stuff we started and just never finished.    So, visit the website, www.theoldtatteredflag.com on Aug. 3 for our "Christmas in August" sale.  Wool and patterns will also be 10% off.

I've transferred my "Antique Coverlet" to weavers cloth for punching.  I can't wait to do it.

The peasant bag is something new we've been working on.  It incorporates hooking or punch in the top section with wool applique on the bottom.  It is just gorgeous, but we are still tweaking.

The Cathedral window is just stunning.  It's such an intricate design that we knew the colors would have to be limited.  We chose antique black for the background with red wool for the detailing with splashes of gold here and there.  It's really breathtaking, wish you could see it in person.
So, I'm off to work on the website, be sure visit the website Friday!
Until next time....

Ooh, punch needle just might be do-able for the coverlet. Hooking it seemed daunting. Is the punch needle pattern available for purchase?

Oh my goodness! My favorite so far has to be the peasant bag! The design is fabulous as is! Can't wait for the pattern release! I do like the idea of the coverlet on weavers for punch too.... good place to start.
